Bathroom Remodel - Day 2

We picked out some tile at Floor and Decor. We decided to go with a marble tile and add in a glass block accent.

Before laying the tile, I had to fill in the section of floor where the original vanity sat. A couple of sheets of cement board cut to fit no problem.

Here's the floor with the tile down prior to grouting. There were only a few simple cuts around the edges for size. The small glass blocks were the same dimensions as the two inch tile so laying the accent border was no problem. The only tricky cuts were around the waste pipe for the toilet. I used a 7-inch hand grinder with a masonry blade for this. It beats using those annoying tile nipping pliers by a longshot.
